Maintenance Technician – Part Time Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin NE-Hutto, TX
Overview
Responsible for maintaining and preparing the physical property in an efficient manner to ensure that guest receive a well maintained, attractive, safe and secure place to stay.
Responsibilities
Performs guestroom preventive maintenance and order work duties following operating procedures.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as received from housekeeping front desk, management or guests.
Cleans and maintains swimming pool and seating area on a regularly scheduled basis depending n the time of the year. Checks chemical levels and maintains logs according to local government regulations.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor.
Qualifications
A minimum of one-year experience in a maintenance environment.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must be available and on call at all times for emergency situations.
General knowledge ff and ability to perform minor MEP repairs general painting and decorating tasks, correctly and safely use hand and power tools, safely use chemicals and cleaning products.
